Use iperf3 to establish TCP connections with four servers provided by our TA and capture the TCP traffic between the servers and the client using Wireshark.

  1. Explain details of the TCP connection with the following server:
    • IP address: 163.221.52.133
    • Port: 5201
  2. Delays are occurred on the connection with the following server. Explain details of the TCP connection and investigate its effect.
    • IP address: 163.221.52.133
    • Port: 5202
  3. Packet losses are occurred on the connection with the following server. Explain details of the TCP connection and investigate its effect.
    • IP address: 163.221.52.133
    • Port: 5203

Optional Assignment

  1. Bandwidth is limited on the connection with the following server. Explain details of the TCP connection and investigate its effect.
    • IP address: 163.221.52.133
    • Port: 5204
  2. Cause delay and loss of packets in the client side by using tc command and investigate those effect
