A student team from our laboratory won 1st place in the static analysis category and 2nd place in the DFIR category at MWS Cup 2023.

The “MWS Cup” is a competition in which participants compete for analysis results by working on tasks within a specified time frame, utilizing the results of anti-malware research using research datasets. The team consisting of Araki, a second-year master’s student, and first-year master’s students Ooka, Takigami, and Yamada won first place in the static analysis category and second place in the DFIR category.
